  • Cells continuous sheet banate hain — tightly packed, koi intercellular spaces nahi.
  • Basement membrane se doosre tissues se alag hote hain.

3. Squamous Epithelial Tissue

Basic Info

📍 Occurrence: Blood vessels, lungs ke air sacs (alveoli), body cavities (peritoneum) ki lining.

Cells extremely thin aur flat hote hain — irregular shape.

Simple Squamous

  • 📍 Mouth aur oesophagus (food pipe).
  • Single layer — flattened with irregular boundaries.

Stratified Squamous

  • 📍 Skin mein hota hai.
  • Cells layers mein arranged hote hain.

Myelin Sheath
Fatty layer jo axon ko cover karta hai — axon ko insulate karta hai aur signal transmission speed up karta hai.
Schwann Cells
Glial cells jo brain ke bahar axons pe Myelin Sheath banate hain.
Axon Terminals (Synaptic knobs)
Axon ke end branches — neurotransmitters contain karte hain. Synapse ke through signals next neuron ya effector cell tak transmit karte hain.

  1. Step 1: Stimulus dendrites receive karte hain.
  2. Step 2: Electrical impulse cell body aur axon se travel karta hai.
  3. Step 3: Axon terminals pe impulse neurotransmitters release trigger karta hai.
