Topic 1Anatomy of the Human Eye
🔵 Cornea
⚫ Pupil
🟣 Iris
🟢 Lens
🔴 Retina
Rods = Black & White / Night vision
Cones = Color / Daytime vision
💧 Aqueous & Vitreous Humour
Vitreous Humour: Eye के अंदर भरा jelly-like substance — eye की shape maintain करता है।
🟡 Blind Spot
🟤 Optic Nerve
🔭
Topic 2Power of Accommodation
👁️ Power of Accommodation = Eye
🔍 Nearby Objects देखना
  • Ciliary muscles contract
  • Lens thick
  • Refractive power
  • Close objects focus
🌄 Distant Objects देखना
  • Ciliary muscles relax
  • Lens flat
  • Refractive power
  • Far objects focus
📏 Least distance of distinct vision = 25 cm — इससे कम दूरी पर object clearly नहीं दिखता।
😵
Topics 3–8Defects of Eye
👓 Myopia (Nearsightedness /

  • 🔸 Focal length decreases, power increases
  • 🔸 Correction: Concave Lens (−ve power)
👓 Hypermetropia (Farsightedness /

  • 🔸 Correction: Convex Lens (+ve power)

  • 🔸 Correction: Bifocal Lens — Upper part: Concave (दूर), Lower part: Convex (पास)
🟣 Glaucoma

  • 🔸 Generally hereditary (not curable)
🟢 Trachoma

Bacterium Chlamydia trachomatis से infection की eye disease।

  • 🔸 Corneal clouding या scarring → irreversible vision loss

  • 🔸 Proteins in lens break down और clump together → clouding
🌈 Colour Blindness (वर्णांधता)

कुछ colors clearly देखने में difficulty = Colour Blindness (Color Vision Deficiency)।

  • 🔸 Hereditary condition
🔶 Astigmatism

  • 🔸 Correction: Cylindrical lenses, contact lenses, या LASIK surgery
🔺
Topic 9Refraction of Light Through a Prism

  • 🔸 More wavelength = Less deviation
  • 🔸 Less wavelength = More deviation
  • 🔸 Refractive Index (n) = Speed of light in air / Speed of light in prism
🌈
Topic 10Dispersion of White Light & VIBGYOR

🔴 Red Light
  • More speed in glass
  • Less refractive index
  • Maximum wavelength
  • Least deviation (सबसे कम bend)
🟣 Violet Light
  • Less speed in glass
  • More refractive index
  • Minimum wavelength
  • Most deviation (सबसे ज़्यादा bend)

Topic 12Planck's Constant

E = hfEnergy = h × Frequency
E = hc/λEnergy = hc/Wavelength
h = 6.626 × 10⁻³⁴ J·sPlanck's Constant
  • 🔸 E = Energy of photon (Joules)
  • 🔸 h = Planck's constant
  • 🔸 f = Frequency (Hz)
  • 🔸 c = Speed of light (3 × 10⁸ m/s)
  • 🔸 λ = Wavelength
🌈
Topic 13Rainbow Formation
  • 🔸 Sunlight raindrop में enter करती है → refract होती है (water denser than air)
🌈 Primary Rainbow
  • 🔸 1 refraction + 1 internal reflection
  • 🔸 Color order: V → R (VIBGYOR)
  • 🔸 Brighter rainbow
🌈🌈 Secondary Rainbow
  • 🔸 2 internal reflections + refraction
  • 🔸 Color order reversed: R → V (ROYGBIV)
  • 🔸 Fainter rainbow (more light lost)
🌅
Topic 14Refraction in Atmosphere
⭐ Twinkling of Stars

🌅 Advanced Sunrise & Delayed Sunset

🌤️
Topic 15Scattering of Light
🧪 Tyndall Effect

🔵 Blue Colour of Sky

🌅 Red Colour of Sun at Sunrise/Sunset

💎
Topic 16Total Internal Reflection (TIR)
2️⃣ Angle of incidence, Critical Angle
🔌 Optical Fibres
  • TIR principle
